WakeMed Physicians
Wake Specialty Physicians is a multi-specialty group of private practices conveniently located throughout Wake County. The new Wake Specialty Physicians practices include many of the same physicians who practice at WakeMed Faculty Physicians; however Wake Specialty Physicians gives physicians the opportunity to practice medicine in a variety of settings. It offers the same high quality medical care in a private practice setting and expands physicians' scope of practice while providing services closer to home for patients.
Our Practices
Wake Orthopaedics, LLC, is a private practice that provides orthopaedic services throughout the region and is comprised of nine physicians with subspecialties in spine surgery, joint replacement, hand and shoulder, sports medicine, and trauma.
WakeMed Faculty Physicians (WFP) is a multi-specialty physician practice with offices at several WakeMed locations, and dedicated to providing state-of-the-art technology and care to patients in Wake County and the surrounding regions. WFP encompass 14 specialty areas of care. Our physicians provide training for residents and medical students at UNC-Chapel Hill and also assist the North Carolina Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) in their statewide mission of education and research.
